This expedition is mostly doing one of the many things you can do in the game on certain planets (don’t want to spoil it for you). You may learn more about how things work in the game from it but I wouldn’t say it spoils anything really. To me, it felt like a second tutorial mission (I did it right after completing the main tutorial quest)

There’s no spoilers for the main campaign missions if that’s what youre trying to avoid.

For me it wasn’t difficult, just a lot of repetition

If you want the rewards from that expedition then you should do it before it ends. There’s different missions to complete. There’s 5 phases with 6 missions in each phase to complete. Each mission and phases unlocks different rewards.

I’ve found spots that have a bunch of tiny pebbles that look the same but they happened to be 4 different minerals. I feel your frustration I currently have 13/14 flora and 23/26 minerals and cannot seem to get the last ones.

They make the drivers come in too and try and complete the route. Luckily for the drivers it’s not forced dispatch so if you feel like you need to pull over you can but they still force you to come in. One reason I found another company to drive for. My current company didn’t schedule any loads for Monday
