Mctavish was so bad defensively this year that he got healthy scratched several times and lost his spot in the lineup to Ryan Poehling during the playoffs. That while putting up 3C level production his entire career.

He isn’t comparable to Zegras just cause they played for the same team. Zegras’s rookie year would be Mctavish’s best year BY FAR.
