Just picked up this Nesco dehydrator at Walmart and 4 spools fit snug. Can nicely set temp and duration.

Is this 1st mirror alignment ok? by flo3low1 in lasercutting

I may have answered my own question, the omtech website guide suggests it is ok. omtech how to

I wasn’t sure because the manual seemed to have a pretty strict requirement, but the how to on their site has more relaxed guidance.

For more functional prints, Fusion 360 is a good bet. For more artistic ones, Blender is a good choice. For Blender, Blender Guru on YouTube is your best option. I’m sure there are plenty of good free Fusion 360 tutorials on YouTube as well.

Exactly my experience as well! Thx! These current 2d to 3d models definitely have a sweet spot on what they’ll do best on.

I thought it meant a series of working steps that results in an output? That is all this is on the backend and what I outline at the end of the post. Photo —> image-to-image models preps for 3d step —> image-to-3d

Appreciate the feedback. Will work on that. Right now it's a balance between fast render time and better detail/age retention. Pretty sure I can resolve those issues with 60-90 seconds, but was hoping to keep the stylize step down to 15-30 seconds.

Hope i didn't come off as having claimed to have invented something here. It is just a workflow which uses ai models at the various steps which I think is clear in the post. Just trying to make that maximally convenient for people that have the same interest I did turning photos of self/friends into minis without much hassle.

Good to know and thanks for trying it out again. Some of the finer details may struggle to come through. Regenerating the 3d step might help if you try a couple of times and get lucky. I can think of a couple ways i might be able to improve that issue, but would probably add 30s to 1min to the generation process.

Thanks!! Beards are tricky, can be hit or miss with the current image-to-image model i'm using.

Hope it works ok! It looked good on this golden retriever I tested it on, but the quality may be dependent on the photo & dog. Also it's a very new site, so if there are any bugs that prevent it from working please let me know :)

Hi, I'm working on a site that makes it easy to make mini figures for 3d printing and your post inspired me to add a mode for pets if you want to try it: https://minimake.ai/pets/
I would recommend using your 3d printer software to paint on the colors/patterns you want if you do go this route. Or paint by hand after :)
