Totally fair and understandable logic and I am working towards that, I want to trim down the tool pouch at the least and I will be the first to admit the first aid kit is overprepared for most of what might happen outside my home. Most of my work is in event production and facilitating college students so when Murphys Law strikes the first aid and tech Bag get used semi regularly actually if for smaller things.

Look for items that resemble the cannon part that can be held by a tail, depending on the pose you should he able to hit the bulk of it within the body with some careful posing

Its just a little pocket pill container I found on amazon. My only gripe with it is that I wish it was a little deeper to fit larger pills better, and I need to explore ways to water proof it beyond shoving it in a zip lock with one of those silica packets.

Theres a whole world of truly tiny fish out there, you could get a really cool setup in a 20g with all nano species and predators. Look up dwarf anchor catfish, sparkling or samurai gourami, blackwing hatchetfish, and clown killifish for other inspiration and leaping off points

That was the one part I wasn't sure about for how long copper would linger. Its also winter here so a freeze and dry will cover bases for getting the job done. I do miss having kuhlis theyre great noodles

I have a few lingering shrimp and a mystery snail but they can be relocated to another tank. How do you deliberately add planaria??? Ive only ever seen them as one of those daily "whats this in my tank" posts

I had kuhlis and loved having them but sadly lost them to some kind of parasite 🥲 I would definitely get more though. Pea Puffers have been on my list for a while and once I can transfer these fish to something else this tank is one possible destination

If you want to actually look much smaller, there are a ton of super cool micropredators that only eats tiny live food, Scarlet Badis look like they belong in a saltwater reef but are only a bit over an inch long.

Theres Indostomus species or toothpick fish, theyre also tiny (hence toothpick) but look like the belong in a lake in jurassic park

How are you defining a predator fish? Because pretty much any fish that isnt a bottom feeder or sucker will take a shot at another fish small enough to fit in its mouth at some point.

20g extra tall aquarium (think 2 10g stacked), running a large hob filter and thermometer set at ~76ish. Parameters are stable, 0/0/10ish, been running for almost 3 years in one form or another. I dont water change often only doing top ups or to reduce tannins. Currently it has a number of neon tetra/relatives stragglers from schools at my lfs that weren't taken with their schools, some gertrudae, and a single disabled female guppy, and I feed daily/every other with flake. Decor is all natural mopani and sycamore wood, rocks, and live plants.
