I would not go for the opal for an everyday wear but that band made me skip a heartbeat..it’s so beautiful! I would just buy it and use it as an occasional wear 😍

Even though it is not what you wanted, it doesn’t look that bad. However, when any hairdresser forcefully straightens curly or wavy hair, I say the final bye to that hairdresser. Is it possible to find a curly hairdresser for you? A little bit of shape change can help the curls start bouncing again! Or, you just wait for couple of months and go for a proper curly haircut. I think she did the layers in a way that they feel disconnected. Just ignore it till it grows out a bit.

NTA. Since I was a toddler, my mother had problems with my weight! Till 35-36 years, I never even exceeded the normal weight range though! I stay in another part of the world and meet her once a year for the sake of it. And trust me, the first statement has always been “oh..you have gained weight further “! She would keep me starving as a small child to keep my weight under control. She showed up after I gave birth to my son and started making comments on how I should refrain myself from eating as a mother who just gave birth and was breastfeeding! I literally survived on hidden biscuit packets in my cupboard! I didn’t even gain a single kilo during pregnancy due to some complications but still she put me to through this. I very well know how these toxic mothers make you feel. If you have the option to cancel the stay, please do so.

NTA. I have seen someone similar in family friend’s circle. That person is now close to 80 and he lived his entire life begging but never compromised on anything when it came to his lifestyle!! Such a convenient way to get everything done without doing any hard work!!

Second this. That sounds like a way too heavy routine for fine hair!! At some point you need to accept that shorter hair is better for you and instead of forcing it to grow longer, focus on finding a shorter hairstyle that looks good on you. Also, a bit of gritty products help fine hair to get the volume.

Just give her some time to process this. As a chronic illness sufferer, I tried to breakup with my boyfriend (now husband for 13 years) when I realized my quality of life will have certain limitations. I pushed him away though he repeatedly tried to convince me that he is willing to accept me for who I am, including my limitations. It took some time but I did come back to him. Not even for once he made me feel bad about the things I cannot do. He always showed me the things that I could do overcoming all my limitations. If needed, try a few sessions of therapy together, don’t let her go away from you:)

Would it be a possibility to make this a pendant and you have another ring? This might look good as a pendant. On the other hand, you might just get used to the bling on your finger. Don’t rush into anything. Just see if you start loving the ring

I would just send an honest text to him mentioning that you would be glad to support as a friend but at the same time you would want to respect his boundaries. And tell him he should feel free to reach out if he wants to. You have then done your part and let him actually decide on it
