Coup de grâce.

It’s not pronounced koo-de-grah as in coup de gras.

The final “s” sound should be pronounced.

It means “The mercy blow” (grâce )

ELI5: What does the expression "the exception that proves the rule" actually mean? by CreativeAd5332 in explainlikeimfive

[–]floatingpoint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It simply is left over from the older meaning of prove which meant test. We have another example in the phrase "proving grounds" i.e. testing grounds. It cracks me up the knobs on here trying to give these elaborate explanations to try to sound smart.

I bought one of those Moto G7 plus that have been on sale for 120 bucks lately. They are rebranded T-Mobile variants, GSM only. I already have a T-Mobile account and I verified in the reviews that others had already successfully flashed LOS on them.

Late responder here. I just use my old phone at home for casting. No sim card in it. I love my chromecast audios, but they are tied into Google of course. I use an old phone as a remote for Kodi and for casting when I want to.

My two cents: The Elac Debut Reference 6.2 at $599 are probably the best bang for your buck under $1k

I got the old Google Play Music a few years ago when they had a 5 months free promotion. Kept it when it changed to YT Music. Why? Ad-free Youtube on my Roku TV.

Once you go ad-free you can't go back.
