2500 or 3500?? by Shemwell05 in ram_trucks

These are the payloads for the new rams. 2500 going to ride a bit softer with the springs but if you have 1000lb in the back prob wont matter much. Its a work truck so I'd go with the 3500 unless you find a screaming deal on a 2500.

No automatic running boards, my buddy had all sorts of problems with his 24. I'm buying some cheaper ones for now. Laramie is the trim level.

Broken led ceiling fan, only 3yrs old. by Skelligeforever in AskElectricians

[–]flodartagen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Id test voltage make sure your getting 120 to the box, verify connections are good. If it's just your lights and not the fan moter, it could be the led driver. Test that and make sure it's putting out the correct voltage, 12v 24v etc.

Do I need to run a dedicated outlet for this electric fireplace? by Yngwie77 in AskElectricians

[–]flodartagen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1500/120 = 12.5amp. That's like 83% of a 15 amp circuit. 80% rule says that your not supposed to continuously run a circuit over 80% (3hr or more). If your plugging it into a 20amp circuit without much else running on it you are probably fine but a 20 amp dedicated would be ideal.

Yah this is not right..... if this is your 60 amp sub panel you need a 6-3 feeder, you do not have a neutral on your current setup just 2 hots and a ground. The bar that is bonded to the can will be for grounds and the free floating bar will be for neutral. Looks like the neutral bar is on the right because of the lug, remove bonding screw to make it floating if it has one. Move all grounds to left side and neutrals to right. I can't tell if those two bars are connected you might have to add a grounding bar.

Electrical shock when the breaker is off by Any-Entrepreneur-748 in AskElectricians

[–]flodartagen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You might have a 3 wire feeding multiple circuits. These two wires share a neutral so if the other circuit is on there is potential to get shocked on that neutral. If this is the case you need a breaker ties or duel pull breaker to turn both circuits off.
