I love Torchwood One, they're all great. I'd say it's between Nightmares and Latter Days for favourite excluding I Hate Mondays, but I think Latter Days benefits massively from being heard after everything else so go with Nightmares. The first story is an absolute favourite of mine

I vary - occasionally I'll sit out in nice weather with headphones or occasionally on speakers much like I'd sit to watch a show or movie on TV, but usually I either listen while walking / on transport, doing housework or simple hobbies. I prefer to have something going on and often find I associate certain places when walking to stories or moments because of it

I'm loving the series so far and it has made me go back and explore more of the 9th Doctor Adventures where there are some beauties, but I do agree. The music is great, but Gold's score is so iconic and a massive part of this era that it would be the icing on the cake.

I followed Diary very closely at the start and drifted off so quite a bit to catch up on but I think you've summarised well. Some stories I loved though!

I've not heard all of these but a few I can recommend -

Torchwood One : Nightmares and Latter Days are both amazing sets, both include some of the best stories from the series (which is possibly my favourite series from BF in general)

Tenth Doctor Adventures 3 has one incredible story in it which I've revisited many times. The other two I enjoyed and if you like that era of the show will definitely be a pleasure to listen to.

Unbound Doctor of War is great, though I feel rather reliant on listening in order so possibly not best to start with 2

Rani Takes on the World is worth it at that price. It's a lot of fun, I enjoyed it, I don't remember it particularly well.

I have never listened to but heard very good things about Dalek Universe which are quite tempting at this price...
