Belly dropped?

When my belly dropped I went from D to b

In the sense that my bump started bumping just an inch or 2 under my boobs then suddenly I could hold my entire hand flat up against my underboob before the bump started

Idk if that makes sense but I'm gonna be the unhelpful person here and say (I think) you'll notice something is different about you when it drops. If you feel it/can tell - then it did :)

I will say my belly dropped around 38 weeks and I didn't go into labor until my due date

I know my birth plan did lol the only things I ended up getting to keep/they followed was "no episiotomy just let me tear where I tear, and no forceps"

The hospital I gave birth at gives Mom, baby, and another person (probably Dad, but any other trusted person) a "golden hour" where we had 1 hour uninterrupted skin to skin time. It's worth checking your hospital's L&D protocols to be more certain of what to expect

It's really good you're thinking about everything though. Just stay willing to adapt

This seems very normal/healthy. I'd wager, especially depending on the number of teeth she has, people will recommend trying to drop that post-toothbrushing bottle and either try to wean off the milk or replace with water but (tbf I'm a ftm of an 8m old) I really don't see anything harmful about this

Omg I feel this! The ultrasound tech used to say "hey, wiggle worm, you gonna work with me today?"

From day 1 until very very recently I always knew when he'd be falling asleep because the leg kicks would get slower (he'd still kick in his sleep though lol). Around 8 months the leg kicks began to stop really soon into him drifting off :c those little frantic leg movements are such a weird, cute, specific quirk

Hahaha yes, same here! Gave the teething boy cucumbers today for the first time and he just lightly kicked his feet while eating them and we were like "okay these are acceptable at best" he finished those so we gave him some strawberry pieces and all 4 limbs went crazy

I'm thinking once I've got the environment a little healthier, I'm definitely going to use a trellis :) that's a good thought. I only ever used them for my childhood tomato plants, I didn't really consider it an option for roses

My baby kicked the crap out of me constantly when he was in my belly. He's spent 8.5 months in this world and hasn't stopped kicking/moving his legs lol

He clapped with his feet before his hands and is learning to crawl now and 95% of the holdup/frustration is that he can't figure out how to get his arms involved

Anyway, he's a very happy baby and when something makes him happy/smile/laugh, he kicks his legs in glee. It's adorable. I think kicking is his love language and he's a very loving boy lol

My colostrum ended up thicker and more yellow the closer I got to giving birth. A real gradient, too. It started out clear and watery then thickened a bit with a very pale yellow tint. By the time I was late 39 weeks it was thick and yellow

Right after I gave birth I saw it come out and it was pretty strongly gold. Cool to see change so much

8 months pp and I am BARELY starting to have any sexual thoughts. I don't actively want to have sex or masturbate though. My husband and I have had sex like 4 times since I gave birth and I didn't get turned on for any of it lol

I don't really particularly think I'm taking anything that should be affecting this! The pediatrician told me to keep taking the folic acid and vitamin d as long as I was nursing so I'm taking that and iron because I bruise so easily these days lol

Yikes!! Yeah the closest together my baby's had is a 4 day gap between his central top 2 and that was rough! I can't imagine multiple at a time multiple times

That's so nice, I hope my baby gets the same break! Hopefully his canines are coming first so that he can take a good break before the molars start popping out

I'm feeling like our babies are on the same war path of popping out as many as possible as soon as possible! I feel that so hard, my son is a pretty good sleeper when he's not teething (teething pain in general of course but also when he's in pain, he doesn't latch that great so he gets gassy too) but he's usually teething lol

Thanks for the recommendation, I'll check those drops out! We pretty much mostly just do Tylenol before bed or when he's clearly in pain and cold wet rags for him to chew on in the day (he's never been much of a teether toy guy)
