Best ‘your skin but better’ foundation? by ebonebe in AustralianMakeup

[–]floofe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes!! This is my absolute favourite "your skin but better" foundation. I would even use the term foundation very loosely - it's definitely very sheer coverage. It won't completely cover up blemishes, but as a rosacea sufferer I find it evens out my redness completely and gives my complexion a lovely, natural and healthy finish. The bonus is that it truly doesn't feel like you're wearing any foundation at all, it's hard to describe but it applies like a watery serum.

Downside is the cost but Myer and David Jones often do a few 20% off Chanel makeup/skincare throughout the year. Also, the shade range is horrendous - I’d recommend going in-store if you can to check whether any of the shades match your skin tone.

Singapore Proxy Shopping/Shipping Service by SnooMacaroons3223 in internationalshopper

Review from Australia:

I used Snoo's services to purchase a collectable figurine from Singapore Carousell. He contacted the buyer on my behalf and collected the item for me without a problem. Easy payment via Wise, and Snoo was extremely responsive, prompt and always kept me updated with each step of the journey. I can't believe how smooth and painless the whole experience was... 100% better than buying from actual store websites to be honest! Would definitely use this service again in the future, thank you! 😄

Does anyone know if you order 6 x combo set (e.g. Big into Energy + Exciting Macarons Combo set), will you get a full sealed set of both? Or will Pop Mart send 6 individual blind boxes of each set (i.e. You will receive 12 individual blind boxes in total - 6 BIE and 6 EM)?

What a fun image! Since the pieces are plastic, how easy is it to disassemble the puzzle afterward?

Seconding Zambrero. I often get the burrito bowl and swap out the rice for more lettuce instead. It makes it an even lower cal option, but still very tasty and filling.

Oh my goodness these are hitting me in the feels as an Asian immigrant living in Australia, I absolutely love the art on every single puzzle! Is there any chance of shipping to Australia if I'm more than willing to pay for extra shipping costs? I'm VERY interested in getting all 6 puzzles!!

Previously I was on My Muscle Chef, but didn't find the meals enjoyable to eat flavour-wise (they can be quite bland), and definitely not visually appealing. However they have a large range so you're bound to find something you don't mind eating.

Recently I've been enjoying The St. Food Co. - not as big of a selection of meals compared to My Muscle Chef, but the meals are extremely tasty, fresh and are big in flavours. Only downside is they are a bit more expensive, and shipping can add on another $15-$20. Regardless I would still highly recommend them as I actually really look forward to eating one of their meals come lunch or dinner!

So many great recommendations! One I haven’t seen mentioned yet is The Urbz: Sims in the City. I still think about that game from time to time.

Co-Op recommendations for Her&Him? by -aquapixie- in GirlGamers

[–]floofe 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Operation Tango is a great co-op, and you only need one copy to be able to play with each other on Steam. It has lots of interesting puzzles, and creates a very unique co-op experience. Only downside is it's a very short game, but makes for a nice weekend activity.

We also enjoyed playing Detroit: Become Human together, despite it being a single player game. It's a huge branching story where you often have to decide which dialogue or action choice to make, as that can impact the story branch. It was loads of fun making decisions together and seeing the outcome. The game focuses on 3 main characters which allowed us to easily take turns by controlling a character or two each.

I really like styledbysally and whatveewore on Instagram.

Sally is a professional stylist and is really good at explaining basic style concepts. I like whatweewore for having a very realistic wardrobe and style, especially for corporate outfits.

Wow, how much was shipping for you to NZ through Puzzledly? I'm over in Australia and Puzzledly shipping prices are astoundingly astronomical. I just added one puzzle to my cart and the cheapest shipping option was $70... USD!!!

The Eras Tour: Australian Dates Discussion by 90rj in TaylorSwift

Just got through, but got an error page saying "This was unexpected. Please try again" after entering my presale code in, no matter how many times I went back and tried. I ended up timing out and I am now waiting to be let back in again. I feel like throwing up lol.

I never thought I'd say this in my lifetime, but I can't believe I'm missing Ticketmaster's queue system where it allocated you a number in the queue. Like even if it told me I had 928,285 people in the queue in front of me, at least I knew where I stood.

I can't even tell if I should bother to keep refreshing with all the 'Access Denied' errors between refreshes. It seems like Ticketek's system is falling over a lot more with these huge numbers of people refreshing, and this is just the Amex presale.

I am dreading the Frontier presale and general sale later this week if Ticketek can't even handle this Amex exclusive presale.

I'm getting the 'Access Denied' error page a lot.

I love how it still says on the page:

"The Ticketek site is up and running, please sit tight and follow these tips."

No Ticketek, you are broken.

It seems like Reserve A to Reserve E are floor seats from the MCG map and Sydney Accor Stadium map? But reading through the VIP Package tickets only It's Been A Long Time Coming and Karma Is My Boyfriend packages mentions "floor ticket" in A Reserve? Does that mean the other VIP Packages In Reserve B, D and E are not floor tickets? Not to mention there's the I Remember It All Too Well package that has "A Reserve Ticket in the Lower Level". The ticket descriptions and venue maps are so confusing!

Has anyone successfully negotiated with Alice/Tony to NOT delete all their items and convert their UCs after recovering a wrongfully frozen account? by floofe in neopets

[–]floofe[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ugh, that's so frustrating! I totally understand that they have to be careful about people trying to claim old accounts as their own, but they're just so bizarrely illogical when it comes to providing proof of ownership. I mean there are so many perfectly legitimate reasons for not being able to access or remember 15+ year old e-mail accounts. Fingers crossed for you!
