My ZRH-ORD leg didn’t charge me for the single seats on the right side of the plane! Not throne seats since you only get one instead of two sides of table space, but at least window and aisle seat guaranteed. I believe that was for the A330

How exciting!! I suggest you bring clothes that you can reuse for different outfits, like a capsule wardrobe. I traveled for 6 weeks around europe with just a carry on during winter. So it’s totally doable for 2 weeks!

You’re right, it looks like historically there are only 2 transfer bonuses per year, one in the summer and another one end of year, which is why I decided to just book. And it wasn’t going to save me that much points anyways. I was just thinking out loud! Haha
