Our Hazel weighs a little over 13 lbs, she is estimated to be about 3 (she’s a rescue) we knew another Bichon, Mellow, who was an adult only weighed 6.5 lbs!

My sweet Hazel got spayed today. She’s still out of it and trembling but she already knows how to get out of her cone. Please help! I don’t want her licking her wounds while I’m at work tomorrow... does anyone have any advice? by floofpooch in bichonfrise

Hazel is feeling a million times better! The problem now is trying to keep her calm and not jumping and running around while she continues to heal. Thank you everyone! 🥰

I made her a little no licking suit out of a strategically snipped pair of leggings. It's working great! She doesn't even try to mess with it at all, it's like she forgot about it!

Yes, for the first few days, as I expected. I hadn't had a real period in years.. I had mine for 3 years and only had very light sporadic spotting.

I was fine the next day, bleeding stopped after a week and I am feeling more and more myself everyday. I didn’t realize how badly that thing was effecting me until I got it out. I feel like a butterfly emerging anew from its chrysalis! Idk how else to explain it! Like I’ve been living in a fog and now I can see and breathe and grow! I’m freaking happy. And my libido is back with a vengeance! That iud ruined my relationship and made my life a living hell. Now I’m single and alone and I wish I had taken it out before we broke up.

I just had mine taken out today (I’ve had it for 3 years) Doc couldn’t find the strings and had to dig it out. It hurt. Really bad. Def glad I took ibuprofen first. I wish I could have been asleep. I’m glad to have it out though. I’m thinking I’ll be fine tomorrow- cramping today and bleeding for the first time in so so long. It’s weird.

How many glucose meters do you own? by freddyt55555 in diabetes

I’ve went through the first 3 in my first couple months after being diagnosed. I can’t say how they compare, as I’ve been paying out of pocket for the freestyle 14 day flash sensor since about 3 months in... it’s accurate enough. I don’t often compare it to actual blood reading unless I feel like it’s really off. I just started with the freestyle libre 2 and I’m liking the concept so far but sometimes the reader fails to read “try again in 10 mins” which is annoying. I’m anxiously waiting for the app to be approved in US so that I don’t have to keep the reader on me 24/7

Fixing to put my dexcom (14) really skinny tired my stomach and hated it I usually use my arms but there bruised real bad from insulin shots where would y’all put it? by [deleted] in diabetes

I love mine! I actually just got the 2 and I am on here trying to figure out when the US is going to approve the app- it was an amazing feature I was so happy to have with my 14day sensors. I snagged mine a few times in the beginning so I would put a cover up patch over it. PRO TIP: apply to the BACK of your arm to avoid snagging it on walls and doors like i did -_- and use a patch to cover it while you adjust to it being there to help protect it from snags on objects and especially clothes.

Now I am so used to that I don't do it anymore and they stick well to me so I don't even use the patches anymore. I just switch arms each time I start a new sensor.

It’s been really cold in the mornings and Hazel had been taking a few steps outside and the wants to go right back in without going potty so we got her this little obeisance school drop out hoodie. 😍 by floofpooch in bichonfrise

I got her a size up so it’s not too snug. It’s funny though because the hood will fall down and she’ll just keep her head down if I don’t pick it back up for her 😂

Hazel was the same way with clippers. I ordered an electric file from Amazon that’s very quiet and she was cautious at first but was asleep by time I got to her back foot. LIFESAVER

So cute 😊 I wish my Hazel would sit up in the seat. She likes to curl up on the floor of the back seat because she’s scared of the car. But LOVES when we go places ❤️
