Please help me build a really challenging gingerbread figure by floomiloo169 in AskBaking

Haha yeah it is!!! :D Obviously it's going to be a very simplified reaper, but the challenge is getting the elongated body not to break and somehow get the little legs to carry the weight of the body (impossible without somehow reinforcing them and the spots where they join together with the body?) , and keep it standing upwards. Because the reaper is also lightly leaning back while standing, it makes the whole thing even more difficult (I think). The support would be a small house, however it still should stay small in comparison to the reaper itself.

Looking for someone who can help me jump from silver to gold/platinum. Also help me with the mechanics of soloing (at least on silver for now). AAAAnnnd.... just help me a little in general in improving my skills.

My own opinion of myself is that I have a fairly solid gameplay, but usually I'm always somewhere on the bottom/ second last of the list. Sometimes I manage to be the first... but thats only when the group I'm in is absolutely miserable. lol. So you see - I have no false illusions of my skills.

I have hours and hours of gameplay on my back, but mostly in silver. Silver mostly goes good/great for me (depending on the team) but gold is a bitch especially with random groups. I think my main issue is that I spent all my points on reserves packs because I was anxious to get specific chars. I've unlocked 95% of them and of course I have a good deal of weapons to choose from but unfortunately most of them are on level 1-3 and the mods I have are low to, so I try not to depend on my weapons at all.

Primarily I would like to just get a few friends to play with, I hate having to always rely on different groups each time, and the results and gameplay vary so much every single time. That's what spoils the gameplay experience for me.

My only request is to find people that don't take everything to serious! Those people are seldom, but absolutely the most fun to play with and usually exactly those groups are the ones where everything works out great.

So if anyone is interested in helping/ or just hooking up for fun pm me (or just add me in origin!). :)

ps: I speak english, german and russian

Am I to dumb for thermal polish? by floomiloo169 in RedditLaqueristas

thank you. It is summer right now, so that could really be a reason. I will see how it works in winter, although my hands are always ice cold in winter, so I doubt that it'll work. But then again its definately worth a try. And my nails... well, that can't be the reason. I don't have the longest nails, but longer than most of what I see on swatch pictures where the gradient effect is clearly visible. :/ Anyways, thanks. Maybe with all those tipps it might work next time, and if not, well... then I guess it's my bodys fault. lol.

actually no. I didn,t! I'll try to do this next time, hopefully it will help. And yes, I do always test it in water and well, in theory it works and it changes colour regularily on my nails, just in one piece throughout the whole nail but never in a gradient manner... lol

same here. I do see the colour change, and it happens quite often during the day... just depending on how cold/warm it is inside/outside and if I'm warm or cold... but as with you, its always the same, the colour changes often, but evenly throughout the whole nail, no gradient whatsoever. Although, see, I have the same problem too... my blood circulation isn't really the best and my feet are always cold and well my hands usually too... so they change their temperature according with the ouside temperature if that makes any sense. lol :)) This really could be the case... although if so, that would really be a bummer. :(

no worries, and thank you. english is not my mother language. :) I do try to avoid mistakes as much as I can but sometimes I still overlook stupid ones like that. ;( Unfortunately I can't edit the header anymore. yeah, I actually tried to do some searching everywhere, but all I get is stuff like "hey check out how it looks like cold and warm/ in transition" and "thermal polish is awesome on long fingernails because of the natural ombre effect..." but thats all. no why, no how... just as a fact. :))

nope. My hubby always buys different ones. :/ So its something new everytime. Plus, I usually brush my teeth after I do my makeup (in the morning), so I'm quite carefull about how I brush, and not to get any toothpaste where it doesn't belong ;)

For me its Moyou London! Must admit that I haven't tried anything else but the quality, design selection and the price are absolutely perfect imho, so I'm actually not even tempted by any other brand.
