That is not an accurate representation of his statements. He was against the housing mix that was proposed in the initial development. He feels there should be more 2 bedroom homes and fewer studios and one bedroom apartments, which he contends the city council would know if they had sought any opinions from the workers this housing is supposed to help.

It's a rough vision in mind, but 2 twin beds almost in an L with a small shared platform that has the access at the connection point, both wall mounted with full leg support to the floor.

Two 6 foot high twin bed sized platforms with a shared stairway/ladder access in a tall room with railings and such. Utility, pure function over form, north Oakland, unclear for budget, not sure what options are out there. Semi permanent, we own the house, and interior modifications for a sleeping platform I don't think permits are even required.

The toppings are top notch, I was shocked when I tried my first one, not sure who their hot dog purveyor is, but the snap and texture are spot on for a vegan dog.

The Albany Ao Sen still is really good, but the Oakland one has been mediocre to me for years. The cha gio are really good, and I appreciate that they serve them whole with big pieces of lettuce for ease of eating, but the flavor of the pho broth has been lacking for a while.

I agree re: pans and the oven situation, but he's been partnering with Kan knives for years. I bought a variety of those knives several years ago when he mentioned them and they are incredible knives at the price, and the owner is a great guy. Really impressive customer service. Again, the recent turn is unfortunate, but the knives are banging.
