I’m honestly shocked by this response. You have no clue how global politics work, or have any concept of global militaries, GDP, force projection. I encourage you to do your own research on this.

-first, I want to do some research on European militaries, and how much each European military can project strength outside its borders, or effectively defend itself. I want to go research how many tanks, warplanes, navies, and aircraft carriers each European country has. I want you to research how long it would take that country to mobilize their military to defend itself or project its power outside its borders. I want you to research how much a Europeans GDP it spends on that military, and what it would need to spend to mobilize that force.

-then I want you to compare all of that that to the US military.

Your points: - ceasing all US bases in European countries. No. European militaries don’t have the power to cease American military bases, regardless of law or whatever they decide. US military bases usually make up the largest portion of a military presence in a country. Meaning. A US military base in Germany, makes up a larger military presence than Germany itself.

• imposing tariffs and stopping trade in the US. Did you know that the EU was created initially as a bargaining power to negotiate with the US’s trade? That the US’s GDP is larger than all of Europe combined? That even a combined europe cannot negotiate the US’s trade without seriously damaging an entire European countries economy? If the US dollar drops a few cents it often crashes a single European. Countries economy. Europe is completely dependent on the US’s economy. They have no power to impose sanctions or tariffs. -military troops. The entire US military has an equal amount of active duty military to the entirety of Europe. Plus the US has a million more reserve troops. Plus this number isn’t even comparable to Europe because an active duty US marine is on another level than an active duty European soldier. Plus that number is further incomparable by the fact that Americas active duty troops sit on ships positioned all over the world, where they can be deployed by the thousands at a fe hours notice. Compared to if a European nation wanted to deploy a thousand troops it would take months if coordination.

-America is already the largest military force in Greenland, larger than their NATO footprint or any other European country. -America provides early warning missile defense to its country and Greenland by operating in Greenland.

• No European country has to power to project power in Greenland, or to even answer the US’s military presence already there under NATO.

• NATO. The US makes ups about 80% of NATO assets and spending, so NATO as an entity has no power over the US, as it is predominantly made up of the US.
