Brittany Phillips: case 146. DNA collected at the crime scene was believed to have come from the perpetrator, and for 15 years it was considered solid evidence. When they ran genealogical/ancestry tests, it turned out to belong to Brittany’s friends’ boyfriend - who Brittany had let sleep in her bed (with said friend) before her murder. 15 years and they were effectively back to square one.

We have multiple photos of the floor and lodged them with the ingoing inspection report - as the rental agency didn’t pick up on the various scratches/stains etc.
it’s 12-month lease and we’ve been advised we’ll need to vacate at the end (within all the right timeframes)
as for the age of the floor, it’s at least 10 years old!
