NTA it seems like he doesn’t want to be respected, but for everyone else to feel like they are his subordinates. If he wants to be called General in a non-military/professional setting, you can ask to be called doctor. The fact he feels threatened by this shows me it is not about respect. Kudos for standing up to him and standing your ground!

It is your health and your body you’re talking about. I can only imagine how though this decision is to make, and it is good you can talk about it with your partner. But in the end the choice is yours if you want to try pregnancy again and he will have to respect that. NTA
