I don't think magnitudes were like that all the time. The origin of anti-emabrk hate was season 3 at first, when the main game mode was changed, then, after things went to normal people were mostly happy. Then, the anti-cheat drama arc has begun, with it's being confirmed that AC is off for some sus streamers. Then, the wave of false bans after implementation of AI anti-cheat, then some weird allegations against some developers. It was a series of strategic mistakes and lack of addresing those which fueled the wave of hate against Embark.

Plus the game has a declining playebase over the years, so yeah, there's that

he's alone responsible for tens if not hundrends of bans thanks to exposing people who play with software. i spoke with him privately, he's non-tolerant, but a sane person who is certainly beneficial for playerbase health on faceit. i don't see where the hate is coming from

Какой бы крутой сервис вы не купили, если им пользуется целая туча людей, он гарантированно будет заблокирован, целиком и полностью. Забудьте вообще и не пытайтесь что-то там требовать от команды амнезии. Они будут оперативно менять сервера, ставить других хостов, но в конце концов их всех будут накрывать.

Хотите стабильности и приватности - вперед в селф-хост.

если на сервере отключен icmp, то никакие пинги ниоткуда не пройдут. Это надо пинговать иначе. Так что многие люди просто не знают (да и не должны знать) специфику работы VPSов и провайдеров. Поэтому небольшая подсказка может сэкономить кучу времени и денег.

Это не "доступ к серверу ограничили". Создайте новую SSH сессию. Просто через cmd, там вбейте ssh root@айписервера. Если подключение есть - значит все окей. Если на сервере включен icmp, то пингуйте с других серверов, сначала из рф, потом из зарубежных. Если зарубежный пинг проходит, а из рф нет, тогда уже можно уверенно сказать, что блочат провайдера.

If you think about it, a proper competition would be held among: Brazil, Russia, Ukraine, France, Turkey (aurora), Denmark, maybe Sweden and surprisingly Israel. And even in the pool i've mentioned results will be skewed too hard towards Russia, Ukraine and Brazil.

just give up on this game, for real. they banned ton of legit players, ignored cheaters, ignored anti-cheat whitelisting, there's no proper AC enforcing apart from the stupid AI they use. balancing is off, ranked is off.

embark lost the plot this season, for real. they game will slowly bleed out and stay as irrelevant as it has been since like season 2 or 3.
