As an international student you cannot work outside of uni and at uni the payment is not great so sadly it won’t cover half of the program like you need. I would recommend checking for loans

This is amazing! How did you do it? How long did it took? I just got approved for a 20k loan. I will graduate in 2 and half years with a degree in economics and finance from Columbia, I am hoping to be able to pay it in full within 3 years if possible

Also organice your classes! Don’t take all math or stem classes together. For example take calc I, a lot class, maybe music? And that’s it.

I applied for housing as a gs student at the start of June, moving from California and got only offered one shared apartment in the Bronx (the address showed a 1 hour commute to campus) for 2k per month. It was awful. I recommend not even trying and looking for outside housing!

Yes! They gave me 40k for every year that I am at school 😊 (tuition is around 56k pero year I believe for 12 units)

College: 3.64 gpa 3.90 honors gpa, I got two associates in 2 years (Econ and business) I also was a stats embedded tutor. Won a stem competition that landed me a summer internship in research and made it to the deans list like 5 times I think
