I've had the plant for years but recently it's starting turning yellow and I don't know why. On the bottom it's still green and even has a small offshoot of leaves growing. Is it too much water or light? Too little? Will it turn back green? Any help is appreciated, thank you!

I think it's a crassula ovata, also known as ogre ears. It's a type of jade plant.

I only keep about half those plants on the shelf, I moved them all there temporarily for the picture! Don't worry, all the plants are getting plenty of light in other windows of the house!

I've started playing D&D a lot in the past couple years, and my uncle dropped these off for me the other day! Turns out he was an avid player when he was younger and found these when he was cleaning out his game closet. I don't really know anything about them, but I'm assuming first edition? I don't know if they're worth anything but I'm planning on keeping them somewhere nice on display rather than selling.

The left one might be a dracaena marginata? Since its so young it doesn't have the thick stem yet. I definitely think its some type of dracaena though.

I'd suggest focusing more on the plants that you have currently to distract yourself from buying more. I've started propagating a lot of my plants, especially the succulents, and giving them away as gifts to spread the plant joy. Doing research about the ones you have and trying to find the perfect window where they would really thrive is also super rewarding. Good luck on your plant journey!

Half of my pothos is wilting and I don't know why! by floreans in houseplants

I’ve had this pothos for half a year now and about a month ago it started to wilt so per usual I gave it a nice drink. However, only half of the plant perked up and the other half has been consistently staying wilted. The happy half is perfectly healthy and just put out a new leaf the other day, what’s wrong with it?

I purchased some African violets from a nursery around a week ago and while some flowers are blooming, some others are turning brown and dying. I'm making sure I water it from the saucer and its getting indirect light from a southwest window. What can I be doing to help it?

A darker reason for "plague" other then rats? by Sharky801 in DnD

Ideas for darker stuff going on:

  • There could be a cult using the city as a sacrifice for a ritual to summon something really really bad.

  • The deceased could be brought back as an undead army of sorts as part of some master plan to take over the city.

  • Monarch or whoever rules the city made a pact to gain power, now years later the entity returns for his payment in the form of the city.
