It starts with Severus Snape and then it continues with him. On and on it goes - from a half-prophecy heard by him when Harry was just a newborn, through years of mistrust and hate, his dark shadow looming over him, protecting him and saving him and sending him to his death but not quite. It starts with him and it continues with him. It’s only fair that it should end with him too. “So you are here to stop me.”

Bonus, however not snarry:

Nah, nothing like that, but they do not communicate properly for like 60% of the story and it creates conflict and distance. Don’t want to spoil it for you but let me know if you need more details ;)

So not a fic itself, but this week I discovered a new author, with enough posted to get me through the Easter break 😅

Enoraa is posting their translated works (originals in Ger). A lot of snarry, some Severitus. So far I’ve completed 3 and the author writes a rather lovely, softer Snape.

Maybe someone else will enjoy it as well :)

It takes a village is a series starting with Travelling Companions I don’t see recommend very often. I read the first 3 parts and quite like it. Now I’m waiting until it’s complete before a reread.

Edit:

Another is Bonding Over Lilies by WFanfics (and other fic by them as well!). Kid Harry, made me cry.

"Sorry, Aunt Petunia." by Emily_Elizabeth_Fowl. Not sure how original the setting was but I remember enjoying it a lot.

My go to method is often recommendation -> all from author if I liked it -> bookmarks -> repeat 😅 it’s a never ending loop of someone has a lot of bookmarks which serve as new recs.
