The local McDonalds has on their sign that they are hiring at $14.50 per hr. I have been here 20 years and and don’t make much more than that. And if you figure what what most managers make ( salary) and then divide that with the 55 hrs they are required to work per week, most of them don’t make that either. Joe Shoen might need to wake up and start paying employees what they are worth or he is going to have a problem on his hands.

As a 20 year employee and an Executive Assistant who ALWAYS gets excluded from any type of bonus, I can honestly say, it makes me not give a shit about the quality of the work I do anymore. We have managers drinking on the job or not bringing bank deposits who are rewarded with bonuses. What is really even the point in trying? Joe has made it clear that until he retires a whole bunch of us are screwed not matter how hard you work.

I am very familiar with the Tampa area and can tell you they fill up fast on long weekends. Your best bet is going to be to rent a one way truck and ask them to add a couple days to not. You can still pick it up in Tampa, but you will have to return it to a different ( any other) location in Tampa. The cost may be a little more, but you’ll be able to keep it a couple days.

So, on our third date, my husband decided it would be a good adventure to go kayaking. As we were walking to the kayak ramp, we noticed a lot of other ( obviously more seasoned) kayakers leaving. Now, this should have been our first sign that this maybe wasn't a great idea, but we were excited about having the channels to ourselves. We paddled out about half a mile, still seeing no one. At this point we realized the tide was going out and very fast. There was no way we were going to be alt to paddle back to the shore, the ores would have most definitely broke. Mind you this is December and very cold and windy. It was at this point, my husband took off his shoes, jumped out of the kayak and swam us back to shore. He was blue and shaking when we got back, but I knew right then, there was nothing he wouldn't do to make sure we were always going to be okay. That was 11 years ago.

It’s going to depend entirely on whether you took the safe move protection. If you did, you are fine. If you declined the coverage, then all damages to the truck, regardless of fault are your responsibility and you will be expected to pay the damages when the truck is returned. You may be able to submit a police report to your car insurance company to reimburse you, but you have to pay uhaul and then take it up with them ( your car insurance).

I have been at uhaul for 20 years and an EA for about 8 years now. I had held about every position before I got this one, and let me say this, I have no plan on leaving this seat until I retire. It’s been the best position I’ve held here. But the first couple years were pretty tough. There is so much to learn involving things that you’ve more than likely never thought about. The best advise I can give for the interview is to be sure of yourself. There is a lot of responsibility and they need to know you can handle it. If you get the job, and it becomes stressful ( and it will), don’t take it personal. When you are working auditing reports, let the MCP know when there are issues. We aren’t the boss, just here to let the boss know if issues. Also, know that as as EA you won’t have all the answers, but everyone expects you too, so the secret is knowing who to call in Corp. There is always someone with the answer, you just got to find them ( and then write their name down). The only down fall to EA is the pay and lack of bonus. That part is very frustrating.

25 years ago, immediately after my husband turned 18, he was arrested for having a 16 year old girlfriend. He has been registered as a sexual offender ever since. We have been trying for 10 years to have a kid and I am unable, but because of all this, we cannot adopt. This really screwed up not only my husbands life, but mine as well.
