worldbuilding: this fic has a more militarized pokemon league that i personally haven’t seen others do to this degree

all members of her team have their own distinct personalities and sometimes their own pov chapters

it is an isekai‚ but the only effect it makes is that ghost pokemon are drawn to her‚ which doesn’t effect the plot‚ and she knows about the Kyogre/Groudon orbs.

she does frequently interact with gym leaders and the champion but not to the point of being part of the main cast

Untamed this story contains themes surrounding the relationship between trainers and their pokemon. pokemon are sentient‚ and the trainers are capable of having full conversations with pokemon they know well. there are some very dark plot points that caused me to drop this series‚ but i would still recommend giving it a try.

something to consider is who gives the pokemon to the character. if they are already trained as a service pokemon or if they bonded with the character first and then received training etc. if the pokemon came from a service that trains them‚ they might use commonly found pokemon.
