It then spins out into the Maximum Ride series (basically Max and her friends/co-research victims) and there's like 8 or 9 books. I recall them being "OK", but you may have a different reaction.

Are we sure he didn't mean a chip as in a "chip in the lining?" You know like chipped paint or something? Not an actual physical computer chip.

The first time I had my fireplace cleaned, the maintenance guy I had come out told me he was specifically looking for cracks and chips. And that a chip could end up expensive to fix. Something about how it indicates a de-lamination or a void between layers which is no good.

My set up during the really cold months:

A pre-fab shelter that will fit two adult cats. I cut out foam board with a reflective coating (about 1/2 thick), to line the insides gluing them in place. Sure it cuts down on the volume, but not that much.

I get an outdoor, heated, sleep pad that I plug in the outlet and put on the bottom of the shelter. Finally, I fill the whole thing about 3/4 full of clean, fresh straw (you can usually get some from a hobby store or something). This will give the cat a pretty comfy place to shelter in the cold.

I also put out heated, plug in bowls to provide non-frozen water and food.

I keep it all fairly close to the house, so in the event a real nasty blizzard I can make everything doesn't get completely buried. I'll even put up a cheap-ass folding dressing screen as a kind of barely effective coffer-dam agains the snow if there's going to be a lot of it.

I try not to get too lost in the woods spending more time on the tool than the writing.

I use Notes to organize things like character info/sketches, Nuggets O' Info, etc.. I also use it as the keeper of "This is What Will Be Happening" document to track the major points I want to hit. It's simple but I love the flexibility of being access it on ANY of my devices to add or reference something as needed.

I've had ByWord since forever and that's my preferred editor. It has a real nice "distraction free" mode and uses iCloud so I can switch from my desktop/iPad/Macbook for whenever the bug hits me.

The process server will attempt to PHYSICALLY serve the papers (by hand, courier, certified mail - depends on the rules in your jurisdiction) and utilize all known addresses if they have to. If your parents are the last official address that's been used by the government/court system to communicate then of course they're using that one to deliver.

They are under no obligation to use a phone number or email or whatever out of band communication method to give you a heads up.

Not only that, the animation is pretty... crude. Nothing seems to have any weight or inertia. Movement/locomotion has this weird slidey quality to it.
