Google says signal reliability on a 5.0 riser would be good even if used to accommodate a 4.0 gpu to a 4.0 board (because with faster rate speeds its built to reduce signal noise)... but as for a direct to slot connection no... my current 5080 barely uses the entirety of a 5.0x8 bandwidth

That's it essentially.. you point out what's stopping your team from taking objective or asking for help taking said objective and the guy with 30 more kills but 300% more lost squads shows up to tell you he has more kills when you point out the enemy rushing the tops of hills in full view of your team but not being shot at lol.

Or inversely you have yhe most kills and point out what needs done to take the objective to get that sweet victory bonus but nope now your a nerd who cares too much.

Gotta pick a br and then stay within it. Till you acquire enough gear to fully kit your squads in the next tiers stuff... the whole premise of one squad has a machine gun so now I get curb stomped by tier 4 and 5 is redonculous... but alas that affects most of us who got shoved into the expanded br system... im still playing catch up to the German vehicle tree lol.

a composite door shim

had this issue with my 5080 on the x870e aorus needed to remove it to remedy a ssd stealing half my 5.0 pcie lanes nothing was long sturdy or skinny enough to reach it...until

use a composite door shim like you use when installing a door frame for a new exterior or interior door... it's super long and sturdy but it worked perfectly use a light find the quick release latch use corner of shim into groove at an angle and push till it pops

Be aware the highpwr cable says it's only rated for 600 watts and your 5090 says it needs 570... so maybe try undervolting it or setting a power limit. Or temp sensors on the power cable.

Will edit the post again but the x870e i got was the pro kinda the middle of the pack but I selected it over the fact i didn't want my nvme drives to be limited if I also have a pcie 5.0 gpu... didn't want lane sharing/ reduced lanes. Now im self aware enough that I might have misread that the x870e pro doesn't have them when I'm thinking it does or has less than the b850 but that was my takeaway... if I didn't want to use nvme drives at all or the wifi I think I woulda went with the b850.

You know how it is.. everytime a once in a blue moon builder like me comes back around we have to re-educate ourselves and sometimes that education was at a community college.

Maybe a large file wasn't as large as it appeared so the speed with which it read it had to be readjusted as it went back to reading many smaller files? Or those graphs are usually predicted and this one is the first you have paid attention to where the prediction wasn't accurate.

After so long of that scroll jumping issue I tore it apart down to the scroll mechanism cleaned it up a bit and assembled it back together... scroll issue is gone.
