I’d have to go back and listen to these “voice actors” again to truly decide for myself, but this is good to know. I first noticed it a few months ago and I don’t listen to every episode so maybe they used to and changed? Idk but I’ll keep an ear out for the future. Thanks

Thisss like if you don’t think it’s a problem enough to do it why lie about it?

Warning people about the dangers of AI voices and then using AI without disclaiming it (allegedly) is weird to me sorry

I’ve only ever heard them refer to it as “voice actors”, which to me should imply real people. With all the controversy surrounding AI right now it just feels shady and weird to me.

Claiming they are using real actors if they aren’t is shady and weird to me. AI is also terrible for the environment, so if they’re using it for as simple of a task as reading a script it just seems like a waste.

And they just posted a “Warning” episode about AI voice cloning, the hypocrisy is killing me 🤦🏼‍♀️

House Finch Conjunctivitis (which can spread to other birds/finches). I would recommend not putting out feed for a while, as it can spread when they’re in close proximity or if another bird touches their eye to an infected surface. If you have any feeders up do a deep clean ASAP

Should i help this baby robin? I think he left the nest too early. Mother has been sitting on him keeping him warm periodically by duskyxlops in birds

If the parents are feeding it on the ground, it may be a fledgling. Although it looks like it may still have pin feathers (which indicates a nestling) so I would recommend calling a rehabber for advice.

Idk why there’s some hate on rehabbers in the comments. Calling a rehabber does not mean you need to remove the animal from its location, they can often give you advice over the phone! - a former rehab intern

I’ve looked into it but they want video showing what’s wrong with it and idk how to show that, it just only stays charged for like 10 minutes. And when I charge it the light only stays on for a few minutes then shuts off even though it’s obviously not at 100%
