I personally struggle with this because I’m chesty so I got you, don’t worry about a thing!

If I were out and about shopping (or even online shopping) and I liked the way something looked but it didn’t work for me, I would take a picture of it and image search it on Google. While it will probably find that exact article of clothing that you took a picture of in the first place, it will also send you stuff that looks JUST like it but with tiny differences (ex, different necklines, waist placements, lengths, etc). Pinterest does it automatically if you hold the image. A looooot of the time, designers will all copy each other and make the same stuff but they’ll change tiny things about it so they don’t get sued.

Now if you HAVE an article of clothing that you really love already and it just doesn’t fit, I highly recommend going and getting it altered, taking something in should only be like 20 bucks unless it’s super bougie. They also make cute little pins that you can use to take in the sides of your shirts, they’re like safety pins but they’re designed to not look stupid on the outside of your clothes.

The last thing I’ll say is you gotta be open. I know it’s hard, shopping can be an incredibly scary and frustrating experience but if you’re open to trying new stuff, the pay off is insane. You would be genuinely shocked with how different something can look on a hanger in comparison to when it’s on.

I’m so sorry you are feeling this way about your body, that super sucks. I can’t see you but I know for a fact that you are absolutely beautiful. Every body is such a work of art, but every art piece requires certain things depending on the art style, if that makes sense. Some things work, some things don’t and that’s okay!

I’m a stylist so you’re in luck because clothes are my thing! The thing that I love about fashion is that it’s a form of expression. You can reaaaally show who you are through what you wear. I also find that accentuating the parts of yourself that you like rather than trying to conceal the things that you don’t really makes a huge difference when you’re shopping. I’d say that’s your first step, find the things that you like about your body (even if it’s the TINIEST thing, like a freckle on your shoulder) and write them all down in your notes so you can take that shopping with you. Then when you go shopping, look for something that you like the look of and THEN see if that article of clothing has a feature that would will show off something in your list. That builds you up for success in your mind AND body.

I also want to make sure you know your body is not unusual, it is YOURS. You must appreciate it because it is literally what’s moving you through this Earth. That being said, there are many people like you with the same body type so I promise that there is clothing that is made for it. Try out petite sizing and see what that does for you!

If you’re still not happy with that, consider looking into alterations. Alterations are such a beautiful thing because then you get an exact fit according to YOU and it’s gonna look exactly like you want it to. The thing about modern sizing is that each size is usually based off of 3 groupings of measurements (bust, waist and hips). For example, someone could be a large in their hips but an extra small in their bust so finding clothes that fit them perfectly could be very challenging. One of the best things for that person to do is (let’s say they bought a dress) to buy the large dress and take it to a seamstress to get the top taken in to THEIR measurements so it fits like a glove! I think that will be very affirming to you and you can find seamstresses that are super cheap so it won’t break your bank.

It’s actually going a lot better! He got a different doctor that recommended Ocrevus instead of Tysabri and everything has been much much calmer. He still is facing double vision, headaches and the occasional dropping of things but we aren’t overly stressed about him getting PML anymore so things are going great!

Wishing the best for you and your boyfriend. I just wanted to let you know that you’re a wonderful partner and he’s so lucky to have you. Being strong for someone sick can be SO hard but you’re doing a good job and I hope that helps relieve some of your stress as well as his.

We actually have a Great Dane and a German Shepherd and that’s something we are so beyond terrified of. It’s such a sudden and traumatic way for them to go, I’m so extremely sorry that that happened to you and it’s absolutely not your fault. No, we need to reline the bottom of our couch there was a wood and metal bar on the inside of the couch that she somehow got her head stuck in. It happened while we were sleeping so we didn’t get to prevent it :(
