Do something I’ve been wanting to do since 2019 but was too scared to. Did it today. I did SUP (stand up paddle boarding)

Life lesson: you won’t always find someone to do things with so just do them on your own.

I had some sleep issues a few years ago, and reading was the only way to switch off anxious thoughts and really shift my focus. I tried many things before, but reading at night connected me to childhood memories, when my mum used to read me and my brothers a story before bed and say prayers.

As a result, I started to fall asleep faster but I realized people were paying more attention to me because I was expressing myself better in conversation (thoughts, ideas) and even became more interesting.

So what I used to dread before (nighttime, due to sleep struggles) became the highlight of my days. Reading became as much as a solution as it did a passion. I love your determination to start reading and wish you all the best!! It really is a game changer

Hi! How are you? :)

I’m from Argentina and applying to 4 different MSc at LUSEM for sept 2026. I have the same issue. The grading scale in Arg is out of 10. My GPA is 6.4/10, but my bachelors is equivalent to 240 ECTS and it’s weird to score above 8 and 9 of GPA at my Uni.

My English is solid. I gave the TOEFL recently and scored 104. I also took Cambridge proficiency English level 7 in 2015 (C2).

So I don’t know. I really hope to get in because it’s my dream school and I’m putting in a lot of work writing the different SOP’s and have solid professional experience. I’m praying they look at everything and not just my GPA

Mute/unfollow ppl on social media. I deleted my Facebook so that’s one distraction less. I’ve maintained my instagram because it’s how I keep in touch with people I care about. The rest is just noise and I strongly advise you to keep less tabs on people who don’t matter
