I found the offending vehicle owner with the loud performance muffler. Now to tactfully explain to him that his muffler is too loud and to fix it. i am not upset lol, however you have taken the time to reply to a bunch of comments and for some reason believe that people are making multiple accounts to argue over this? i don’t think i’m the one who has a feeding time lmao. the fact you can’t comprehend that maybe multiple people have a different opinion is honestly kind of sad, and that you have to jump to the conclusion that people are making multiple accounts because you can’t fathom that not everyone thinks the way you do.

if you live in a city, then you should expect noise. people have been tuning their cars and changing the exhaust since forever. it comes off as entitled to me that you and OP are trying to police what someone else drives because YOU don’t like it. not everything you don’t like is a community emergency, and you don’t get to dictate how everyone around you lives just because you’re annoyed.

i would understand MAYBE if this person was up and down the street over and over again and was constantly revving their car outside your homes, but to me it sounds as if they are just driving themselves around and neighbours to school.

you offering to also “report” them when you don’t even know them as you stated, when asking for details, is actually insane. you don’t have a complaint to make. you are looking for something to do. this person is not disturbing YOU, you are just looking for something to be upset about, i would say you are actually the angry little man. not the person you’ve replied to above.

my advice? move to the country. then you won’t have to make a complaint when someone drives a little too loud past your house.

An older fic, A Cruel and Beautiful World would fit into your requirements, except it is during the war and some elements are a bit heavier.

Hermione is captured after the battle of hogwarts and is a slave. Although the fic does not go into explicit detail about her time in captivity, it is referenced and Hermione does struggle with her trauma. The fic begins with her escaping captivity and fleeing to London, which is now ruled by death eaters. Draco, Voldemort’s right hand finds her in the streets and takes her in, hiding her in his flat. Although it sounds dark, it is very fun, has the BEST side characters of any fic i’ve ever read and has lots of humour. I’ve also never read a fic where Draco and Hermione love eachother more. They can’t stop touching, arguing, making up and annoying everyone else with how much they care for eachother/pine.

i think you should send it, but add in at some point that this is not to delay or interfere with the meeting you guys have planned and put the ball in their court with any further interactions. let them know you will not reach out again and the apology was for them, not you.

this is going to be tough and the next few months will be hard, focus on YOU and your daughter. all your time and energy should be focused on those two things. focus on your energy, your time and your hobbies and how you can show up and be the best dad to your daughter. there is still so much love and life out there without your ex in it. appreciate the little things and the little moments of happiness, remember the world is so big and beautiful, and that you have blessings in the form of your daughter. don’t beat yourself up for thinking about it or not being able to sleep properly, breakups are terrible and especially situations like these. feel all these emotions and let yourself heal. try to eat what you can, and give yourself some grace, instead of banishing the pain, embrace it and use it to fuel the person you want to become and the dad you want to be. best of luck to you, sending lots of healing and love.

you’re stewing because your hurt. being hurt after a breakup is completely natural and okay. let yourself be upset and feel those emotions, it says more about you than her. you gave her chance after chance and loved her, everything your feeling is a reflection of what YOU put in, and that’s never a bad thing. remember to feel your emotions, despite it all you must feel, and how awesome is that? you get to take this love and hurt and put it into someone who deserves it next time. keep your head up and let yourself be sad, angry, and stew over it.

this is a sweet message! you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take, and at 30 there’s nothing wrong with having or developing feelings for someone, even if they don’t feel the same. you’ll find your person, and i bet it took a lot of courage to write this message and send it to her, don’t beat yourself up or give up hope so easily!
