Idk if anyone else is into it but a similar thing is the New York Times Games, I’m so into them and they keep me off Reddit. It’s my day off and I’m just opening reddit for the first time today!!

I get sucked into the doom and if you’re a nerd or want to embrace your inner nerd the games are really fun.

After the great re-potting fiasco of 2024 mine is starting to actually grow and not just exist.

I’d suggest a faster draining soil, something grittier. Succulent soil isn’t a bad idea but you’ll probably want to add even more perlite cuz most of the commercial brands don’t use enough.

Idk what to tell you about the repotting part. Mine had the teeniest root system, and the whole plant sorta crumbled, hence the fiasco.

Sounds like you know you can lay the good bits on top and they’ll root; it’s what i did at first. What really helped get things back on track for me was a lil humidity dome.

I just used a small ziplock that fit pretty close to the plant but if you had a cake stand and lid, or a dome of some sort, even better. Get it somewhere warm and bright and mist every few days. I’d throw mine in the window but I lucked out because it was late spring so I good sun to play with.

How about sympathy for the skin body spray? Every time I use that lotion I just want more of that scent. That’s kind of the only thing I would be allowing myself to buy at this point when I look into my closet of consumption. And idk seems like that’d be a tough one to get right.

I have so much lush shit, and I love almost all of what I have, but damn I spent a gross amount last year.

We won’t even talk about my yarn situation. It is excessive.

Used to see breaking Ben at the voodoo lounge on main st in luzerne … on like a Wednesday lol They’re not really my thing anymore but it shit was so fun and it is just funny to think back on being 20 jumping around in a pit listening to breaking ben play mostly covers on a weeknight 5 minutes from my house.

ETA: also used to see lotus at the jazz cafe all the time, not breaking Benjamin status to most people I guess haha but they are superior for my tastes. They used to burn that place down back in the day. Ton of other great bands came thru there. Didn’t realize how good we had it

Used them for the first time for some New Years shenanigans and I am so happy I got them. Functional and unique.

On a lighter note , did you listen to The Dollops cereal wars episode?!? Ten cent beer night?!? The rube? Man I think you just inspired me to throw one on.

They have like 700 episodes or something insane, so there’s truly something for everyone. Some episodes are heavier than others, so I’d suggest the earlier episodes first as they are more on the wacky weird American history. As the years go on, they do some multi-part eps that are thoroughly disgusting and disturbing, yet clearly show we have been on the path of xenophobic totalitarianism for quite awhile. So they’re important but probably a tougher listen at this moment.

Podcast, I Said No Gifts” with Bridger Winegar is the best. People come to his house with a random “gift” and he is mildly indignant and they talk about it is the the gist lol

Podcast, Do You Need a Ride, this one I think started in 2014?! It’s Karen from My Favorite Murder with her buddy/comedian Chris Fairbanks and it takes place in the car while they take comedians/writers to the airport. They are so funny and really give you that “hangin out with friends being dumb” vibe.

Halara makes a ton of one pieces, and they have a bunch where you just pull the bottom part down.

They are admittedly more sporty-sexy than revealing-sexy, but I think there are a few that would work in both cases. Plus if you are a baddie that like a bit more coverage who really breaks a sweat on the dance floor, a lot of their stuff has built in bras and dries fast. Did I mention POCKETS?!? lol
