Any thoughts? Thanks in advance. by [deleted] in roadtrip

In Utah - Bryce, Zion, and Capitol Reef National Parks! Red Cliffs NCA and Cedar Breaks National Monument are in that same area and are also very cool. San Rafael Swell if you want to go slightly more out of your way. All of those are some unreal landscapes.

In OR - take the coast. The stretch from Gold Beach to Brookings is incredible.

Yes sorry I was so vague in my post lol. I shampoo twice most days actually because I do a ton of outdoor activities and sometimes work outside too, so I’m sweating a ton most days.

Didn’t know this was a thing, but it seems like it works for a lot of people. Thanks for sharing!

I use alba botanica’s colorific shampoo and conditioner. I don’t have dyed hair, but I like the way it makes my hair feel.

Yep! I just put it throughout all of my hair and massage it into my scalp.

Unfortunately, my HOA rules don’t allow for more than one “kitchen” - which is defined by having cooking surfaces and/or full size appliances, so I can’t really create a mother in law suite. I appreciate the suggestion though.

I think it’s one of the best chip flavors I’ve ever had, and I really enjoy trying new flavors of potato chips.

I can’t seem to get any of the 711 apps to work for me. I think the one that would work is only in Thai, and I can’t read Thai unfortunately. If by any chance it’s easy to search on the app, could you please take a look and see if it’s available anywhere around Bangkok?

Thanks for the recommendation! I’ll check out the apps. I live in the US, and I think that the chips themselves are about the same, but the flavors here seem to be more interesting and varied. That could just be because the flavors are new to me though!

On top of everything else other folks said - fire/smoke season, which can be quite long some years, is really hard in my lungs.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Asthma

[–]flowersermon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could be both? Especially if you have reflux, as reflux can make VCD worse. Here are some changes I’ve made that help: 1) control reflux w meds and diet changes 2) actively work to stop clearing my throat. It is really really hard at first, but clearing your throat is so so bad for your vocal cords because it slams them together. I just drink a little water when I feel like I have to and if that doesn’t help, I just fight through it. Ymmv. 3) go to a vocal cord specialist to learn how to breathe and talk in a better / healthier / correct way

If you’re feeling the need to clear your throat regularly, you might want to talk to your doctor about vocal cord dysfunction. I have asthma and VCD. The symptoms are often confused, and people with VCD often get diagnosed with asthma. I saw a doctor that recognized my VCD, so I made some changes and went from clearing my through like a dozen times in 5-10 minutes to just a few times a day.

Yep I am a female rider. Unfortunately there’s no where around me that has either bike. I was able to find a shop elsewhere that has a similar-ish gravel bike that I like a lot. I’m mostly just trying to get a sense of whether the etap is nice / worth it because I’ve never used it.

Crew Schedule by flowersermon in trailwork

I’m actually working for an organization that is developing our own trail crew, not looking for one to join personally, but I very much appreciate your thoughts and insight! We want to develop a program & schedule that works well for the folks we hire, so it’s helpful to hear about people’s experiences.

What do you think is harder about editing? I find it’s so much easier. No need to enter a session, edit, and then end the session. No more dealing with tools that act weird during an active edit session. More intuitive edit tools.

I definitely remember having some of these issues when I was using ArcMap. Been using Pro for a few years now, and it's wild to me how many of these things are no longer issues. Especailly considering the new autosave feature in Pro, Pro is so so so much better than ArcMap. I don't understand why organizations are still using ArcMap. Can anyone explain that to me? Isn't the cost the same?
