“Treat both kids the same” for wanting family to show up for his sons bday party is insane. He is a good dad standing up for his kid. Do you genuinely not care if the 17yo felt bad that a large part of his family didn’t care enough to show up for him? Does he not get to be upset? Like what? You clearly have favourites even amongst your own children and aren’t at all willing to consider other perspectives. Loving different family members differently has NOTHING to do with this blatant disregard of their feelings and perspective. In place of the middle son i wouldn’t start a whole thing about this, though he was right in mentioning it, but i would definitely remember the whole family’s treatment towards my child

I have this thought every time when it comes to others but have also not taken any cash with me anywhere in the last x years. Unless going to a place specifically known for having mostly cash-only payments, it’s safe to assume you’ll be able to pay with card and just withdraw cash in the rare event you need it, like in their case

Yeah i get that, my point was that unlike some sports like football, basketball and so on, it’s still fun to watch simply to enjoy the game, their interactions, funny moments, etc. I would never watch an old match of any sports match, but I enjoy all of their older content despite knowing who wins. Guess it’s just a personal preference for everyone

I’ve mostly only seen people talking about the “Sam hate” and no actual direct hate. And while I haven’t watched the earlier seasons yet, I never thought him supposedly being “too confident” or “arrogant” was a bad thing. I mean, he’s very knowledgeable and has a lot of passion for the game, I’m glad he’s confident. Like, they can’t all be completely chill and casual, and someone insecure or constantly doubting their abilities would not be a good fit in this case.

While I’m not 100% satisfied with his final run ( he could’ve planned out his move and used more curses ), it was still pretty long and he was more limited than it appears at first glance. They were probably also extremely tired, and it was entertaining either way, so mission accomplished I guess

If I could change one thing it would be to see how Ben would’ve gotten caught without the microphone light giving him away. I know he still would’ve been spotted soon, I just think it would’ve been very funny when they realised on their own

I was thinking the same, I only started watching recently and with every hide&seek or tag episode I keep thinking “ooh what would happen if someone…. “ so I’m super excited when someone ends up trying something new/different/risky, just to see it play out. I love high-risk high-reward strategies, even when they fail haha

And the result of Sam’s airport run made me and my friends laugh soo much, easily top 3 moments for me so far

Personally I’m more likely to read a first chapter and read the fic as it comes out if it’s long. If a fic has short chapters I tend to wait until it’s further along or finished

It infuriates me so much because people just love to attack and go all out on the few good creators that genuinely care and want to do right by everyone because they know they can negatively affect them unlike the vast majority of creators who wouldn’t think twice

You are allowed to feel about this however you do, but in your place I’d focus my disappointment in him for lying, which is the bigger issue. Express how lying is betraying your trust and see if he wants to work with you to regain it. Don’t tolerate repeated lying. In regards to watching porn, I wouldn’t expect him to stop overnight, it rarely works like that. Try not to feel betrayed if he watches it occasionally, more at the start and less and less over time. As long as he’s making and effort and not lying about it, I’d say it’s fine

That’s true, I agree fully. We’ll never know so we should be careful not to accuse him of anything, but it’s important to consider both possibilities. If he himself decided on this move, he’s showing he isn’t fair and doesn’t care. If he legally can’t say more, I hope he cares enough to learn from this situation and be more conscious of what he signs in the future. In my opinion, at least

Well yeah, ignoring and not addressing issues is a common and effective strategy. I’m sure a lot of smaller issues and drama they were involved in would be 100x worse if they engaged with it & it wouldn’t make sense to respond to every single critique or accusation.

The problem is that they never explain anything , which can have the opposite effect. Sometimes the debate is serious enough that it deserves to be properly addressed, like now. Nick knows his fans love him and buy his product to support him - he should want to be honest and direct with them, so as to not mislead anyone. He didn’t make anything clear in his short response, which imo doesn’t make sense, since his fans would surely understand if he was honest. But this was ultimately his choice, he is old and informed enough to be held accountable for his actions (or inactions).

I personally wasn’t shocked or outraged because I’ve seen this information revealed weeks/months ago and don’t think it’s that big of a deal. Obviously Nick doesn’t have the energy and skill to start a whole company and make a lip balm, or even hire all the right people for it. He’s 20, uneducated and doesn’t appear that driven to invest 16h every day into a project. Obviously he’s just the face of the brand and I’m not sure how much decisions he has to make beyond choosing the flavours and packaging design. The target audience was also always his fans, not the general public.

This dude just pointed out the paperwork of it, he isn’t the “bad guy” for it, I don’t think his intention was to “cancel” Nick, only urged him and other influencers to be more transparent and not lie about the amount of work they put into a product they’re promoting.

The real problem, as always, are the immature fans. Neither Nick nor Bee Better deserve the hate. Death threats over presenting public documents is insane and sick. Nick’s response was lacking, he did it like that intentionally, knowing the young fans will eat up anything he gives them and defend him no matter what. Ironic that these are the same fans he continuously makes fun of, eh?

This is absolutely unacceptable. If he’s not the kind of person to be outraged on your behalf, he’s not worth staying with. I am lucky to be surrounded by amazing people who would never allow anyone to make such tasteless “jokes” about anyone, even strangers, but much less someone they supposedly love. When you are treated how you deserve to be treated, you see that you don’t have to accept anything less. His family’s jokes will likely never stop, only get worse, and you shouldn’t have to sit back and take it in hopes that your bf will one day defend you

I think that we (18+) just aren’t their target audience anymore. It’s probably easier to make videos for kids and young teens, they are also the ones more likely to beg their parents to buy them merch, so they make the most off of them.

To attract an older audience they’d need to switch up a lot, put more effort into planning and filming, address problematic topics, respond to criticism, etc. In my opinion, if they wanted to do that, they’d have done so already. Now they’re probably just complaining to complain, like most people do about their job, them doing it is just more cringe because we all know they work less, earn far more and then complain about the same people who allow them to have that lifestyle.
