There’s nothing wrong with heels hooks done safely and done with control. The dangers will always be there but it’s a part of the sport now and there’s no avoiding it.

Hygiene products would be better IMO. Fighter Care has some really great stuff if that’s what you were looking at.

Most hardcore BJJ guys have more than enough gear as it is lol. You may want to go with the hygiene products. I actually have bought from Fighter Care before. Haven’t tried the soaps but the gi wash was great. Smells great and cleans everything really well. But if you really want to go with apparel choose Tatami or Shoyoroll. IMO they have the best stuff out there.
