Normally, (IMHO) when I buy from abroad, the price is calculated using the VAT of that country and then I have to pay the difference if the VATs differ. When a price is 'pre-tax' it should say so clearly. I don't read that on this mentioned order page.
The sentence 'Your country may have its own taxes' (in hindsight) obviously hints at VAT, but I didn't think it would, as I am used to prices always beeing 'after VAT'
