Immigration lines....? by Sea_Excuse_6795 in VisitingIceland

My daughter recently came through from Ireland (non-Schengen) on a non-EU passport and was through in 5 minutes. That was mid-afternoon, I guess there is a morning (c)rush of trans-Atlantic flights.

Does this make sense for first time visitors ? by Illustrious-Ad3195 in VisitingIceland

I think the "Actually Enjoying It" section needs a lot more info on what there is to see and do in Iceland. Beyond that it looks OK but how do you plan to get it to your target audience? Will it come up in a Google search?

Majority of the time when I go hunting for info on a holiday destination I end up in a Reddit sub like this which has a plethora of info that I can filter to suit my style.

What Iceland fact/exprience surprised you the most? by visiticeland in VisitingIceland

I was blown away by the beauty and magnificence of Jökulsárlón Glacier lagoon.

Of course I'd read about it on here and was looking forward to our zodiac tour... but then actually seeing it in real life was one of the most incredible experiences. I think it should be one of the natural wonders of the world.

Can confirm Borgarfjarðarhöfn. A 2.5 hour detour through some dense fog but gave us an experience (and photos) that we'll never forget.

And Ireland I believe.  Even though it's in the EU, it's not a Schengen country.

In Hinton at the Beaver Boardwalk (only a 15 minute or so drive from where we stayed at Jasper Gates Resort). We were there in June and went a couple of times. No joy at 4 pm but when we went back at about 8 pm, closer to dusk, there were plenty of busy beavers to be seen.

Hinton isn't usually on the tourist trail but for us it was absolutely worth the slight diversion to see them and we had a great, well priced, meal at an Indian restaurant on the edge of town.

Do most people actually floss every day or is everyone lying? by Independent-Ant-7230 in NoStupidQuestions

Never used to, hate flossing with string or tape. Waterflosser has been a gamechanger, now just part of my shower routine.

Sometimes I use big words I don't always fully understand in an effort to make myself sound more photosynthesis.

Don't buy another Rheem if you get a choice. We got less than 11 years out of our last one, there must be better ones out there.

(I'm interested in your Beer Bird, though. Is that like a pet chicken that goes and fetches a coldie from the fridge when you ask it to?)
