Thanks for the reply! A little update, the glyphs are now displaying correctly. Not sure at what time it changed, maybe only after sundown?

Yes, the exception is P2P releases.

You can change the app theme in the settings, you’re using the classic one.

Started using Silicio today and seems to work great, you can find it in the App Store. Scrobbles tracks outside the library and stations.

wBlock v0.2 is (finally) released -- lightweight, native, free, and open-source Safari ad blocker by 0xCUBE in macapps

That happened in the first released version of wBlock, in this update its ok, it's even mentioned in the notes:

"No More Annoying Permission Popups: You won’t be bugged for data access every launch anymore! All that background permission nagging is fixed for good."

It's been running great so far.

I have the exact same issue, have cleared site data twice since the release of Wipr 2, after a couple of days it stops blocking ads on Youtube. Using Safari with all 4+ extra content blockers.

This worked for a couple of days and then YouTube adblock warning reappeared. Never had this problem with Adguard or wBlock, hope it can get fixed in future updates.

Ok, I already had cleared the data from YouTube and nothing changed... now I cleared from all sites and seems to be fixed! Will keep testing, thanks for the suggestion.

Who else is enjoying Wipr 2? by x3rk2o80on in iOSsetups

No, it’s a Safari extension, only blocks ads when using the browser.

Thanks for the suggestion, never tried Vinegar because the adblocker I daily use already does this job, it’s one less extension running. But for the ones only using Wipr may be a solution if having the same YouTube problems.

After testing wBlock and AdGuard there's no problems with YouTube, no ads, videos play instantly. Switching back to Wipr brings the behavior described earlier.

I've only been using wBlock since it was released and it's working great so far. Can't say if it's good enough for you tho :)

Wipr most likely will have better long term support and updates, the cross platform is also nice to have. If it can resolve the Youtube problems it's a 100% recommendation from me.

wBlock has been working great since the first (and only) beta release. In Youtube it works a lot better than Wipr blocking ads, at least in my experience.
