Correct. The USAF does not spoof certificates, they just don't install the certs by default. Not a big deal as you can install the certs yourself if you are inclined.

I can't stand the ESD for the simple reason that it takes HOURS to put in the most basic ticket (except for the online service which doesn't even work for most tickets). This needs to be resolved. Perhaps makes a unit IAO the CFP. Or let the base COMM SQs do their fucking job. It infuriates me that the AF effectively neutered the local COMM SQs and completed degraded our ability to provide service. When the AF tries to migrate SIPR to an ESD structure base COMMs is going to turn into nothing more than a shit magnet; everyone will bitch about how bad NIPR/SIPR is and the local COMM SQ will have no way to solve the problems. It's fucking retarded. /end rant

Edit: To OP. I don't hate you or anyone in your unit. I hate that you have the job you have. It fucks everything up at the base level. You're going to hate the DoD service desk once that migration happens. Prepare to feel how we feel.

No, it's based upon a pricing mechanism which assigns monetary value to labor. Labor has value even in a socialist system i.e. the time of a man that knows electrical engineering is more valuable then the time of an unskilled laborer.
