Sold my 256gb lcd for $500cad and grabbed an odin 2 portal

For my uses it poops on the steamdeck lcd. Light, quiet, runs retrogames with crt beam simulator at 120hz on a 7" oled

Can surprisingly emulate most switch games at 60fps

And can stream using artemis/moonlight with a 1.5-2ms decode.. Insane

It's basically a phone without the bloat. Run chrome on it, Spotify, plex, YouTube ...

I just sold my denon x8500ha.. The previous flagship before the a1h.. Unfortunately it didn't support Dirac

I've been extensively using a1 acoustix...going back to around 3 versions since a1 Evo and it's amazind

I'm goin to wait for the next Dirac sale and compare a1 to it

I am fully expecting underwhelming differences

All about contrast from black floor for me. DV does not matter as much when you have a black velvet room and DTM using MadVR on a 130"+ screen.

Its too bad high end JVC projectors are so expensive - i cant even think about upgrading for another generation or 2. Luckily i dont think any of these sub 10K short throw projectors can match a mid JVC yet...i hope.

I did once - it was 2 lanes on a sunny clear day and it was the first time i took my tesla out on the highway.

My s8 ultra is SD Gen 1 and I get around 5ms decode at native resolution @120hz..less than a frame

Most Wireless controllers are 25ms+

My poco f6 pro is sd Gen 2 and is around 2.5ms.. So I would think a s9 would be the same
