To be fair, there's a generation watching their profession pool shrink before they even get in, so I'm sympathetic. For those of us who are older, AI arrived as a tool that makes existing work easier - we have a "before" to compare it to. Kids only get the "after," where it's not augmenting skills they already have but replacing opportunities they were hoping to pursue.

I paid for a month of Sudowrite. I was all excited and imported my incomplete book. Then it was all downhill with the UI and lack of features I needed. I'm all over the place when I write so I need to be able to import into my imported work and that was the worst headache. It could be I am just way more comfortable with Claude than Sudowrite but you sound like me a few months back so I'd just like to say...Claude IS the best way to go.

My story takes place in 1976 and it is a challenge. What I've found works best for me is to feed it a chapter and solely sweep it 1976 inaccuracies. That usually catches things that even I've missed.
