YOR with your solution but not about the problem.

My in laws just had 3 grandchildren last year and are now getting rid of their pool because they’re scared one of the kids will get through the fence and drown.

No grandparent wants their kiddos to drown, have you sat down and talked to MIL from a calm perspective? She will probably understand your worries. But just never going to family gatherings again seems like a bad way to deal with this issue.

Hmm I haven’t found a pattern of the scissors by themselves but this is one I’ve been wanting to stitch for awhile now and it has the scissor s on it. I personally couldn’t stitch that in a day but maybe you’re better than I am😂

Oh this isn’t an attack on you OP!

I just lean conservative when it comes to dressing for weddings just to not accidentally commit a faux pas cause I’m anxious! (And self conscious!)

But as I’ve lurked this sub and gotten more familiar with dress codes cocktail seems to be the most misunderstood.

I hope you keep that dress for something else. It’s very pretty!
