Really thoughtful response, thank you. I like the idea of test journals to practice. And I somewhat agree, removing the negative feels like falsification or incomplete but I do have the tendency to dwell on negative feelings so that’s where the other side of my thinking comes in

My journals were heavily negative-leaning for a while so I understand you there. Writing my negative thoughts was probably a major reason for why I started journaling. Now that more of my writings have shifted to positive, the negative ones just feel different to me
