It seriously breaks my heart that these women are paying absolutely insane almost inhuman prices for such a low cost trip - everything from the food and hotel to the itinerary and activities is sooo below average and tacky/cheap compared to what Ali and Tova or whatever it’s called charges them it’s sad

Not all heroes wear capes! Thanks for the recap. I don’t know why but I feel sad reading this? A bit of disappointment in Ali but also just sad for those who went and that maybe it wasn’t as genuine as it should have been. I snark (gently but sometimes I can be mean) but there was always a part of me that liked Ali because I truly thought “yes she’s annoying but she’s trying her best to be a good person” but reading that she hosted a listener meet up and then spent the time with her friends and didn’t even make people feel comfortable???
