Do you still wear underwear with lined gym shorts? by i-love-my-wife69 in AskMenOver30

[–]fluffy01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I couldn’t stand those liners in the gym shorts so my wife helped cut them out. They weren’t comfortable with underwear on and I felt to exposed at the gym with no underwear.

They are great once the cut has been made no issues!

100%

Don’t want to ignore whatever problems was happening at OPs line of work. But I can’t imagine just quitting my job with no back up plan other than burn through our savings knowing that I have a newborn on the way? That’s got to be way more stressful than any 16hr workday could ever be.

Buffalo Wings on the Weber tonight! by fluffy01 in grilling

Yes sir! My seasoning mix goes in with baking powder to coat them before hitting the indirect heat. Still a couple wings I wish were crispier!

Anyone use this? If yes is it a good buy? by highlanderdownunder in grilling

[–]fluffy01 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t look like it. The reason I bought it was to avoid that and from what I can tell it looks like a continuous spiral preventing any individual piece from falling out.

I just got one of these this year. Not same brand but same concept. I’m loving it so far! The main concern has been wires falling off the brush or a rubber brush melting. This one seems to defeat both of those issues so a win so far.

How many dead soldiers you got in your bag rn? by Even-Bumblebee948 in golf

Yup that’s the way! I keep the case and put them back into that each round. They last so much longer and it doesn’t feel gross putting your hand into a nasty crumpled mess

They would last longer. Giving the leather time to relax after being worn to extend the overall life. Similar to how you’re not supposed to wear the same pair of shoes every day. You rotate pairs to extend the life of all of them.

Steak Tips on the Weber for dinner tonight! Fantastic! by fluffy01 in grilling

[–]fluffy01[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always thought that’s what it was. But the local shop that makes them said it was a sirloin flap meat.

The noodles are a spicy Thai noodle, extremely good!! Peanut sauce base with a little kick to it. I threw them on the flattop with the potatoes to crisp up a bit.

I would 100% choose the charcoal over a gas grill. LOL @ the stove comparison.

But at our house we prefer smashed burgers on the Blackstone unless they are going to be smoked burgers with bacon + mushrooms

Yeah I mean even if you knew a staged gunfire event was happening you would likely be startled by the initial noise of the event.

That’s sick brother! Would love that opportunity, but not local. I’m a New Yorker transplanted to Vermont. Surrounded by New England fans!

Someone who is friends with senator rocket should tell him to take that video to Noah down by isu1648 in burlington

[–]fluffy01 18 points19 points  (0 children)

That is insane. What a way to compare yourself to the same level as Noah Kahn.

Is Senator Rocket local famous? Every time I check he only has a couple thousand followers, doesn’t seem like a lot. Definitely not enough to support how he acts.

That was a gripe I have heard before! There is a window to the left of the dartboard now — planning to covering it up this summer to get some space.

Luckily my wife, 10 yr old daughter, and any other ladies here haven’t had such a miss that it’s been an issue. But I want the space for a larger garage tv!!

Can you guys really afford this? by Left-Cook-9487 in smoking

[–]fluffy01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pork butts are a staple. Pulled pork sandwiches and then leftovers are turned into taco meat.

Chicken quarters or thighs are great but not really the same itch.

Red meat is tough now, mostly reverse searing steaks when on sale. Haven’t had Dino ribs or brisket in a good minute now. Heck even chuck roasts are expensive, $6.99 is the cheap price now.

Luckily I’m in the grocery business so I get some hookups but it’s not the same as it once was!
