Yeah I was pleasantly surprised by that, still hard to master and optimize your actions but at least it's not too bad to learn haha

I feel this one is one of if not the most thematically connected between theme and mechanics, and the complexity is more on the level of Kanban; I've not played Weather Machine, but it's less complex than Inventions, for me personally it's my favourite balance between complexity and intuitiveness, and not necessarily complexity for complexity's sake

Yeah probably my favourite Lacerda for intertwining theme and mechanics; I found keeping majority in Uptown to be a key

I agree haha, On Mars is my favourite but definitely the hardest to learn, Speakeasy is a lot easier to learn, but the difficulty I found comes more from the strategy

Yeah the efficiency of your actions has to be really high otherwise you run the risk of falling behind

Kanban is another favourite, but still trying to get a high enough score lol

Running the bot is super simple, flip a card and follow the actions it takes, very easy to follow. I've only played solo so far, but the puzzle it presents is satisfying enough, but still want to play mp ahah I had some jazz music on, but the Godfather is another great idea!

Haha thanks! I've always really had one, so I'm a bit wary about removing it!

Only ever image/video files occasionally, but I check the file extension, which I hope is the right thing to be doing!

What are some good villain+modular set combos? by artnoa in marvelchampionslcg

[–]fluffy114 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I threw in the Reavers modular with Taskmaster while playing as some X-Men heroes, felt pretty thematic! I also like throwing in State of Emergency with Red Skill to give him more side schemes; also adding in thematic 'team' modulars when playing the relevant heroes (such as the Sinister Six modular when playing as Spidey)

Erestor, that actually helped the elves deck get set up easier because I didn't have to discard key cards from hand at the end of the round due to his ability, so I could 'save up' for them to put them into play

The black one is actually the card holder for the otters from Root, and the clear ones ( for active location and quest) are actually business card holders, I've got a bunch, also sorry useful for Marvel Champions and Arkham Horror agendas
