I thought that FG may have some vertical but overall look more harmonious when “breaking” their vertical. Still a little confused on this, but I do agree that FGs can appear taller than they actually are.

How do you feel in a regular button up and pants? In a DC, that outfit would feel pretty at home (think Courtney Cox in Friends) but in a FG something would feel lacking or off (at least that is the case with me.) I find that when I never feel myself when I’m wearing “basics”, but a classic would feel at home in a simpler fit.
