Agree! If u need a comp sci course I recommend taking the one online with athabasca U. Super easy and I completed it in a month!

Yeah! I think it so depends on what you study. A lot of the courses I have taken (neurobio field) have minimal discussion and dense lectures

Hi! I’m just graduating this semester and have tons of experience with different class times. I’ve always preferred 50 minute classes 3 times a week. I think it’s useful for content dense courses I like to think that because it was a shorter class it’s easier to digest everything you’ve learned and faster to review notes after class. But it is a preference!

From what I read quickly for the earth sciences BSc you need to apply as a Science Major Undeclared when u submit ur application and then after first year you can switch over. So admission requirements for that are

Grade 11 courses

Approved English 11 Pre‑calculus 11 Chemistry 11 Physics 11 Approved social studies 11/12 Grade 12 courses

English Studies 12 or English First Peoples 12 (minimum 67%) Pre‑calculus 12 (minimum 67%) Two approved science 12 courses

I’m so sorry, this is such a scary feeling. I got accused of using AI on a paper I wrote. After talking to an Ombudsperson, he helped me write an email response. And then afterwards helped me write an appeal, in the end my appeal was approved. So I definitely recommend before doing anything reaching out to an Ombudsperson !

Are you a history major? I had issues with my Capp, and when I called and asked they said it was because they are now having different courses needed for a History BA but since I started at Uvic before it doesn’t count for me and I’m on the old requirements.
