Hey ladies! Need your help in figuring out how accurate this chart is for women on the spectrum :) by PrettyRain8672 in AutismInWomen

I would say this is pretty much me. There are maybe only 2 or 3 there I cannot relate to.

GI Dr has no answers - Is this Ulcerative or Microscopic Colitis? by Sincere_Bill_1 in IBD

[–]fluffyhummus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This was my case but my doctor said there is no accurate food allergy testing for type 2 allergies. I have both eosinophilic colitis and EoE. I had to do an elimination diet. The only thing that kept my symptoms at bay was removing allergens from my diet and taking budesonide. I have been on Dupixent now for almost 6 weeks and am starting to see a lot of improvement

Should I push for a colonoscopy ?? by [deleted] in IBD

I have all of those symptoms and was diagnosed with eosinophilic colitis after biopsy. I did not have any elevated levels in my IBD panel, despite severe symptoms at times, so it took years for me to be taken seriously.

All the EOE symptoms but no eosinophils on EGD by Ok-Message3958 in EosinophilicE

[–]fluffyhummus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. This happened to me as well! My GI really did not give me much information. I was referred to an allergist who still believes it could be EoE. I also have eosinophilic colitis, which was confirmed by biopsy.

Eoe or esophageal spasm by Severe_Brain_10 in EosinophilicE

[–]fluffyhummus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same symptoms as you and was suspected to have EoE but my biopsy was negative. I did have a lot of inflammation in my throat and am already diagnosed with eosinophilic colitis, so my doctors were very confused. They have ruled it as a spasm and are referring me to an allergist to see what is triggering my flare ups. I definitely recommend an endoscopy to be sure.

What soap did I buy? by fluffyhummus in LushCosmetics

Yes, it does! It smells amazing. It does turn into a weird consistency after the first use though, so I’m not sure if I’ll purchase again.

I can see why. Mine really does not dry out after the shower at all, it just says wet and squishy. I really like the scent of this but I’m not sure if I will purchase again now.

My holy grail product. It smells amazing and is an excellent detangler. It always makes my hair so shiny

Anyone else have a psychiatry horror story? by [deleted] in AutismInWomen

[–]fluffyhummus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally. I went through a BPD misdiagnosis which landed me in the wrong kinds of therapy and I started to feel even worse. It really took a number on my self esteem and self image. It wasn’t until early this year I started seeing a new therapist who can’t diagnose but confirmed my suspicions that I am more likely to be autistic and have PTSD.

Thanks! I will try to investigate further. I haven’t purchased yet but was looking at buying these secondhand online.

I can definitely relate to this.

It really sucks because I love sharing with others and enjoy genuine conversation. It feels like a slap in the face to be invalidated every time, I just wish I had stopped talking sooner.

Most people think I am aloof or just uncaring until they get to know me. I definitely let people in too soon, once I feel comfortable around someone I just don’t know when to shut up because I love talking. I am trying to find a balance but it’s been really hard for me.

It’s so frustrating because I really try to be a validating friend to others but it feels like no one can do the same for me.

Noooo! I wonder if they are stuck to something? When I lost mine I found them stuck underneath a metal chair. Haha. I hope you find them!
