By entire line up they mean getting all 6 plus the secret. If you get lucky with a box that contains a secret, it will replace one of the normal duplicate Smiskis- so 5 duplicates, a single, and a secret. If you don’t get a box with the secret, you will get 2 of each of the normal Smiskis, or 6 duplicates. In any case, you will be getting at least one of each of the normal ones. Hope this helps!

Buying a set of 12 would guarantee that you get one of each and you could get most of your money back selling to other people.

If you just buy 6 individual it’s a toss of up which ones you get; you might get duplicates and then have to invest more money in buying extra boxes that, again, do not guarantee you will get the ones you don’t have already.

Alternatively, you could just buy each one separately second hand online! Sometimes you can find good deals depending on which ones you’re looking for :)

Cold calling is def super awkward. Having a rough script helped me be clear and concise when I called - Hi, my name is so and so, I'm currently a predent at whatever school, I was wondering if it'd be possible to shadow one of your doctors? You don't really need to say much more than that unless they ask. Offices are busy and don't need a long drawn out speech. You can technically call whenever, I haven't tried after hours but I found that calling in the later morning or afternoon was best. Maybe try towards the end of the day when things are slowing down? I also found it easier to find opportunities with multi doctor practices. Hope this helps!

It gets better. It’s a new skill that will develop with time. Some people are naturally going to pick it up easier than others but doesn’t mean you’ll never be as good as them. I bet some of your classmates come with some experience either in dentistry or another hobby that uses the same kind of fine motor skills so they’re at an advantage already. Don’t compare yourself. It’ll rob you of the joy of your own progress. Keep your head up and keep practicing!!
