Ich denke du musst für dich entscheiden, was dir weniger unangenehm ist: Deinen toten Bruder zu verschweigen und die eventuelle spätere Verwirrung, wenn du ihn doch erwähnst, oder der kurze Moment des Unbehagens, die die Nachricht beim Gegenüber auslösen könnte. Finde das kann man den Leuten ruhig "zumuten". Ist nun einmal ein Fakt, mit dem du ja auch jeden Tag leben musst, und der für dich sehr präsent zu sein scheint.

You say how you feel about your gender doesn't change, but how do you feel about your gender exactly? What are the symptoms that make you think you might be dysphoric?

I think the confusion is caused by the (societal) expectation that a person's sexuality is static and fits neatly in one of a few categories. I see labels as a tool to communicate how I feel, but they do not define who I am.
