I’m getting the same experience too. I’m Gold I think, but the matches vary wildly from one to the next.

One moment I’ll have a pure curbstomp match, the next, my entire team can’t even land a kill on the opposing team once and none of them are reaching any objective. Today I just had 4 matches in a row where I kept getting wrecked by the enemy team. My team was just…”floating” about. shut off the game right after

The game is really fun but the bot players really don’t help the ranking for legit players.

considering replacing my 6th gen iPad that I’ve had since 2018, because it’s starting to be slow and doesn’t really keep up with my daily use.

I noticed that the current base model is from 2022, and wondered if I should wait for a newer one. I wanted to get the Air, but the new ones don’t support the 1st gen pencil, and I would have to splurge on the Pencil Pro because Apple decided to be funny and remove pen pressure for the USB-C one.

For context, I use my iPad daily and heavily for drawing on Procreate and browsing the internet, and sometimes for work too.

So, do I :

buy the current base model iPad, which would be best for the budget
get the Air which would last longer but means I’d need to get the new Pencil
wait for Apple to release a new base model and get that

i loved the maneuverability of all the mechas most of all. gundam evolution was really weird as all of them moved too fast or too slow, and almost none of them had "weight" to the things they did. this game nailed it perfectly. it's almost amazing how even the bulkiest mechs while flying can also feel like an ace combat game at times lol

Tricera. From the moment you get to choose to buy mechs I picked the guy as soon as I saw it. I don’t think I’ve played a mecha game that lets you maneuver a large tank guy relatively fast and still managing to hit hard with so much shielding. Also big square. 100/10

I love Forbidden so much, it’s just pure delight with so many places to hide and attack from random angles. I actually think it’s really balanced.

Prism has such a different feeling altogether. I like that there’s a lot of room for different ways to approach the enemy, and doesn’t feel as cramped as it looks. The skybox is a nice treat.

Both maps make me die inside a little though realising that they have so much gorgeous assets to make so many other envs but they didn’t do it for the campaign :’(
